Over 100 tickets were sold and more than $1,500 raised the first time Charlotte came together for this barn raising for city dwellers. With your support, Farm Hands Charlotte has raised over $9,000 dollars for area farms, growing the microgrant more each year as word spreads about our mission—and the fun we're having fulfilling it. This fall, we expect to raise at least $5,000 for our finalists. Below are recipients of Farm Hands microgrants from previous years.
