1. Local farmers from eligible counties complete an online or mail-in application for the Farm Hands microgrant by October 14, 2016. See the rules of eligibility for a full list of entry requirements.

  2. Three to five local farmers will be selected by a blind-judge panel to present their idea at the Farm Hands event on November 13. Finalists will be notified by October 24.

  3. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.com. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door, but please note that this event always sells out! Proceeds from these ticket sales will fund the microgrant, along with donations from generous sponsors and other community members.

  4. The selected farmers will present their ideas to the attendees during the Farm Hands community event.

  5. Farm Hands attendees will vote for the winner at the close of the presentations. The winner, who will be announced that evening, receives a micro-grant generated from the money raised via ticket sales and donations!
